In its third year, the National Poetry Awards was founded to nationally recognize and support emerging and established poets in craft. Past winners have included Talaam Acey, Mahogany Browne and Tai Allen.

Online voting takes place now through June 20, so you’re more than welcome to once a day — wishful thinking 🙂 Winners will be announced August 18 at the National Poetry Awards ceremony at the St. Louis Regional Arts Commission.
